I am sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations; please allow me to express my sincerest apologies. Our leisure and spa team, are best know for their customer service and communication skills. I am upset to learn your experience was not up to our usual service standards, I will personally address this with both teams involved. Dear Cath, Good Morning. Thank you for taking time to share your feedback further to your recent visit here with us at Mercure Norton Grange Hotel & Spa. It is always a pleasure to receive constructive feedback. I will share your comments with our team. I am sure that this feedback will serve as an encouragement to all of our staff as we strive to continuously improve the quality of our services. Please accept my sincere apologies, that your experience did not meet your expectations in some areas. 1) Last summer we invested 3/4 M, in refurbing our lobby, reception and Pickwick area. Since this refurb, we have had several compliments on this area. We are very upset to learn this refurb was not up to your liking. 2) We have 13 privilege rooms in 1st floor & 13 in 2nd floor. It’s been the same way since this particular wing of bed rooms were built back in 1999. 3) An A4 size hotel detailed information sheet is included in every single check-in envelope. Swim times are displayed in public areas and lift. Also, a detailed E booklet of our hotel services is placed in every single bed room. You only need to scan on the QR code on the mirror to access this E booklet. 4) As part of environmental initiative we have "Go Green, Skip clean" programme. All you need to do is, display this sign on your door and for all ALL members, we credit 100 ALL points per night. 5) Our A La Carte Menu (placed in every bed room) clearly indicating brunch, lunch, dinner & 24 hrs menu items. Like most of the 4-star hotels in UK, we serve selection of Sandwiches in our 24 hrs menu. 6) In relation to no separate restaurant & bar, during the refurb we went with the approach of centralized F&B area. Our new Pickwick - Restaurant, Bar & We proudly serve Starbucks; is where we serve Breakfast, Brunch, lunch, Afternoon Teas & Dinner. It’s our new centralized Food & Beverage area. Dear Cath, from your feedback there are areas where we can improve, I made a note of them areas. We will certainly work on all them areas for improvements.
